The filing period is starting for candidates looking for workplace in West Virginia elections this 12 months. Candidates can file for workplace from Monday by way of Jan. 25.

Those that wish to run for statewide races, places of work crammed by voters of a couple of county and judicial places of work aside from Justice of the Peace will file with the secretary of state’s workplace.

Elected positions which are crammed by voters of a single county, together with magistrates, file with their county clerks. Metropolis workplace candidates will file with the city recorder or metropolis clerk.

Candidate supplies have to be obtained or postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service earlier than midnight on Jan. 25.
