The incident was preceded by officers responding to a 911 name at 2:30 a.m. and arriving on the home on the 1300 block of F Avenue to search out the suspect’s husband shot and critically wounded, authorities stated.
The person was standing behind a display door when two officers approached, stated police Sgt. Invoice Russell, and “as he was stepping out of the way in which an officer-involved capturing occurred during which the officers engaged in gunfire with a feminine inside the home.”

Authorities had initially stated the police capturing occurred outdoors the home and that the girl exchanged gunfire with the officers. Russell later stated it was unclear if she had in truth shot at police.
In response to the Ontario Police Division, the girl barricaded herself inside the residence. The wounded man was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening accidents.
An hourslong standoff ensued, throughout which authorities tried to make contact with the girl.
A SWAT staff then entered the home and found the suspect and the “faculty age” kids deceased. The kids’s deaths had been “believed to be on account of an act that occurred previous to our arrival,” Russell stated.
Whether or not the girl was killed by police gunfire or a self-inflicted gunshot would was below investigation, the sergeant stated.
The identities of the deceased weren’t instantly disclosed.
The husband who was shot “is unable to speak proper now,” Russell stated, “so we have not gotten a whole lot of solutions so far as what led to the decision to us within the first place.”
